Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kaitlyn, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I wear a few hats in the world of perinatal care — I’m a Board-Certified Music Therapist and a Birth Doula. At the heart of all these roles is one simple passion: supporting families with care, compassion, and connection during some of the most tender moments of life.
My path into this work began with music. As a music therapist, I’ve witnessed the incredible ways that music can soothe, strengthen, and connect people — especially parents and their babies. In the NICU, I’ve used gentle music interventions to help fragile newborns regulate, bond with their parents, and thrive. Those experiences showed me how deeply families need both emotional and practical support in moments of vulnerability, and they inspired me to expand my practice to include doula work.
As a birth doula, I walk alongside families through pregnancy and labor, offering steady encouragement, comfort, and advocacy. My goal is to help parents feel grounded and empowered as they welcome their baby into the world. As a doula, I support families in the early days after birth — whether that means providing reassurance, answering questions, helping establish rhythms, or simply being a calm, caring presence.
I believe that every family deserves to feel held, supported, and celebrated as they grow. Each journey into parenthood is unique, and it’s an honor to be invited to share in that space. Whether through music, doula care, or a blend of both, I strive to nurture families with warmth, respect, and compassion.
When I’m not working with families, you can usually find me with my family or church. I play music for fun as well as perform around Pittsburgh with a few choirs.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I would be honored to support you and your family as you step into this new chapter.
